Vathia Gonia Beach

Vathia Gonia Beach is a sandy beach near Ayia Napa, Famagusta District.
The bay is well sheltered, with hardly any headwind. The beach lies about 400 m east of Nissi Bay. A coastal path links it to Ayia Napa harbour and to Makronisos.
The beach was awarded the Blue Flag in 2026, the international label for clean water and a well-kept shore.
Official bathing water quality for the 2025 season: excellent.
On the beach: lifeguards, sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets, showers, changing rooms, water sports, parking.
The beach is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp down to the water. There is a Seatrac, an automatic seat that takes a person into the water.
