Pernera Beach is a sandy beach near Protaras, Famagusta District.
The beach belongs to the small resort area of Pernera and is quieter than the neighbouring Protaras beaches.
The beach was awarded the Blue Flag in 2026, the international label for clean water and a well-kept shore.
Official bathing water quality for the 2025 season: excellent.
On the beach: lifeguards, sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets, changing rooms, showers, food and drinks, water sports, parking.
The beach is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp down to the water. A floating wheelchair is available; ask the lifeguards.
