Nissi Beach is a sandy beach near Ayia Napa, Famagusta District.
The beach is named after the small island just offshore: ’nissi’ is Greek for ‘island’. It is known for its beach bars, music and beach parties. There is a diving school on the beach.
The beach was awarded the Blue Flag in 2026, the international label for clean water and a well-kept shore.
Official bathing water quality for the 2025 season: excellent.
On the beach: lifeguards, sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets, showers, changing rooms, food and drinks, water sports, parking.
The beach is partly wheelchair accessible.
