McKenzie Beach

McKenzie Beach is a sandy beach near Larnaca, Larnaca District.
Thanks to its position by the airport, the beach is popular with plane spotters. The strip is lined with bars and clubs and is one of the island’s best-known nightlife spots after dark. Concerts take place on the seafront stage, and arts fairs are held along the promenade.
The beach was awarded the Blue Flag in 2026, the international label for clean water and a well-kept shore.
Official bathing water quality for the 2025 season: excellent.
On the beach: lifeguards, sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets, showers, changing rooms, food and drinks, water sports, parking, playground.
The beach is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp down to the water. A floating wheelchair is available; ask the lifeguards.
