Lady's Mile Beach

Lady’s Mile Beach is a sandy beach near Trachoni, Limassol District.
The beach is named after the mare of a British governor, which used to be ridden along this shore. The water is shallowest at the southern end, where the dark grey sand turns golden brown. About 1.5 km inland lies the Akrotiri Salt Lake, where flamingos gather in winter.
Official bathing water quality for the 2025 season: excellent.
