Alykes Beach

Alykes Beach is a sandy beach near Paphos, Paphos District.
The beach sits in the tourist part of Kato Paphos, with plenty of greenery right behind the sand. It makes a convenient base for walking to the medieval fort and harbour, the Paphos mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings.
The beach was awarded the Blue Flag in 2026, the international label for clean water and a well-kept shore.
Official bathing water quality for the 2025 season: excellent.
On the beach: lifeguards, sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets, changing rooms, food and drinks, water sports, parking.
The beach is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp down to the water. A floating wheelchair is available; ask the lifeguards.
