About

A catalogue of beaches in Cyprus in English, Russian and Greek: shore type, Blue Flag, water quality, facilities and a map. Every fact on a beach page is tied to a source and a year.

Where the data comes from

• Blue Flag — the list published by CYMEPA, the national Blue Flag operator, for the 2026 season. It is updated once a year, at the start of summer.
• Water quality — the official bathing water monitoring that Cyprus reports to the European Environment Agency (EEA). The catalogue currently shows the 2025 season.
• Wheelchair access, Seatrac and floating wheelchairs — the 2026 list of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism of Cyprus.
• Coordinates, shore type, nearby facilities — OpenStreetMap.
• Beach descriptions — summaries of the official visitcyprus.com pages and OpenStreetMap tags.

No beach has been checked on site yet; such pages carry a note.

The north of the island

Beaches in the northern part of the island, which has not been under the control of the Republic of Cyprus since 1974, are marked separately. The catalogue has no official Blue Flag or water quality data for them. They are reached through the official crossing points.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake — a wrong shore type, a closed beach, a wrong name — let us know and we will fix it.
